My reliable source, Gail, sends us some more great pictures:

Small, Tall Dainty Iris…planted as bulbs in the fall, come in a variety of colors

Short, clumping allium

Here’s a few photos on what’s in bloom in my garden:

Itoh Peony Kopper Kettle. It’s about ready to open…the colors are so unusual…and it’s very fragrant!

Isn’t it interesting how Mother Nature decided to rest this peony’s head on the moss?

Rainbow Marcella coneflower..I purchased since it shares my middle name, and the color is beautiful

Hairy allium, it’s such an interesting small head of fluff with a bit of purple in it’s center.

I certainly enjoy this Black Lace elderberry when it’s in bloom…it’s a very large bush that will need some trimming after the birds have harvested the berries.
