Gail sent some great shots from Hidden Lakes Gardens:
Hidden Lake Garden’s Spring Bulb Show-
Linda has already shared some of the beautiful flowers in her post–I am
anxiously awaiting the arrival of warmer weather that will allow us to
witness this rebirth in our own gardens. To warm our spirits-I want to share
some pics of my visit. I so need some warm sun that I started my visit in the
tropical dome—-
The first bloom was from a stately Sago Palm–as I walked around the moist
environment, I became aware that I WAS NOT alone. It was fun sharing my
find with the children who were there.
two types of frogs hidden among the foliage of the tropical dome–
I was really impressed with the various Amaryllis which were in bloom
Enjoy
Among the Amaryllis and the bright blooms of the spring bulbs were
many other plants-such as bottle brush, and orchids.
another sign that spring has arrived– Mute Swans floating along
a quiet stream. Warmer weather can’t come soon enough for me. gk
